Ecophon WingLight™

Ecophon WingLight™ is an indirect lighting solution developed for Ecophon Focus Wing™. Ecophon WingLight gives new possibilities to use your acoustic ceiling as more of a design element than just a surface. In combination with Ecophon's Akutex FT surface the light is reflected evenly in the corridor, without any risk of glare. Together with the best possible sound absorption Ecophon WingLight gives you an attractive and aesthetically pleasing acoustic ceiling.

Ecophon WingLight™ consists of two different parts, each with different functions. (sold separately)

  • WingLight Luminarie: Steel lamp house painted on the reflective surface together with a gear tray (28 watt or 35 watt. alt. dimmable).
  • Acoustic ceiling: Focus Wing E or Ds together with Focus frieze with Akutex FT surface, that provides good acoustic properties in combination with excellent light diffusion and light reflection.

ELECTRICAL DATA: 230-240V, 50 Hz, power factor cos φ>0,9. Electronic ballast as a standard. The system can also be supplied with a special electronic ballast for digital regulation. Gear tray is 1x28W or 1x35W T5. A maximum of 30 serial connect luminaries on a 30.0mA earth fault breaker. We recommend peak-current safe, delay action fault breakers - Residual Current Devices.
CONNECTION: The gear trays are positioned and fixed in the WingLight housing and wired to each other via an instant connection 3x1,5 mm². The first gear tray is connected with a hard-wired connection.
APPROVALS: .IP20. F. Approved for installation in unventilated ceilings.
ACCESSIBILITY: The elements are not demountable. The void is accessed through the Focus Ds or E ceiling.
CLEANABILITY: Daily dusting and vacuum cleaning. Weekly wet cleaning.
LIGHT EFFICIENCY: Acoustic ceiling: White Frost, nearest NCS colour sample S 0500-N, 85% light reflectance (of which more than 99% is diffuse reflection). Retro reflection coefficient 63 mcd*m-2lx-1.
INDOOR CLIMATE: Certified by the Indoor Climate Labelling, recommended by the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association. (applies for the Wing and frieze panels)
ENVIRONMENTAL INFLUENCE: Recyclable. (applies for the Wing and frieze panels)
