The new Illuminated Level Change and Light Coffer are designed to fit perfectly into Ecophon ceilings Focus D, DG and E, or Master E.
To ensure a perfect end result the installation has now been simplified:

Lightweight Uplight Extrusion

Easier connection between Uplight Extrusion and hangers

Level adjustment is carried out closer to the Uplight Extrusion
The method of installation with the different surrounding systems is described in detail in
Installation guide 147.
Focus D
Use Connect Edge tool D 0225 to cut the edges along one side of the Coffer, see Installation guide 147. Connect Bracket plate 1027 must be used to provide supporting edges along two sides of the Coffer.
Focus DG
Connect Cellular list 1028 should be used on all four sides of the Coffer. This gives the correct level to support the edge of the tile.
Focus E/Master E
The Light Coffer is supplied with Focus E in the upper section. Both Focus E and Master E have a 10 mm drop which means that both can be used for surrounding the Illuminated Level Change or the Light Coffer.
NOTE: When using the 135° corners, we recommend using Ecophon Focus E or Master E in the surrounding ceiling.
Customised Light Coffers
The Illuminated Level Change kits are based on a modular length of 1200mm. To optimise the light distribution, the overlap of the gear trays should be 100-200mm. The maximum possible overlap is 250mm. To achieve a good overlap, gear trays with two different lengths are combined: 1180mm (28W) and 1480mm (35W).
To design a customised solution with Illuminated Level Change, always start by defining the total length of the uplight extrusion. For each Uplight Extrusion Corner, 75mm in each direction must be left free of gear tray, due to lack of space. Then combine the appropriate gear trays to fill the remaining length.
