Introduction to Acoustics in Education
Introduction to Acoustics in Education CPD which is supported by a publication “Don’t Limit your Senses – Sound in the Learning Environment”, which will be presented to your practice after the presentation. This book gives a comprehensive understanding of noise treatment within the learning environment and is a good reference book. Furthermore, this CPD is particularly relevant as the new Building Bulletin 93 covering school design is now in force. The Seminar also covers the changes and acoustic implications of the Disability Discrimination Act set out in Document E Section 7 to all public buildings.
Ecophon in conjunction with RIBA, the Royal Institute of British Architects, have developed a series of CPD modules for Architects, Specifiers, Surveyors and Clients. Our aim is to provide your organisation with information which can be used on a practical basis. The usual format for this CPD is a one hour seminar including lunch and questions.
We can also discuss any specific points regarding suspended ceiling systems, their applications or relating them to specific projects during lunch. To enable you to inform your colleagues of these seminars we can provide further copies of the attached programmes for you to circulate or use as a poster.
