Unique surface coating
Most Ecophon sound absorbers have one of the two unique Akutex surface coatings, which allow almost 100 percent of the sound waves to penetrate into the glass wool core and be absorbed by it. From a cleaning point of view, however, the coatings are tight and smooth, so that dust and dirt are being repelled and they are easy to keep clean.

Akutex T
This microporous surface contributes to very high light reflectance for both incident daylight and lighting systems. Moreover, the light is reflected very diffusely and evenly, so it causes no dazzle or glare. This is very important in ensuring light efficiency where indirect lighting is concerned.
